Woodall Article Not Just My Opinion
I would like to take a few moments to answer a post made earlier
in response to my article entitled, Woodall
Represents DC to You, Not You to DC published earlier today.
The poster indicated that the article did not fulfill a promise I made
yesterday, which he believed was to provide facts that show that 7th District US
Congressman Rob Woodall does not represent the people of Forsyth County, and
instead represents the people in Washington DC. This article is to fill in a few blanks.
My first example earlier was that Rob Woodall voted to authorize President Obama
to place the continuation of American sovereignty to an up or down vote. Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) which Woodall voted for, did just that by allowing Obama to place the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) to an up or down vote. TPP passing would mean that foreign corporate
trade courts outside the jurisdiction of the United State Government would have
been empowered to rule on the basic fairness of trade deals and trade deal disputes between
the nations of the Pacific rim who signed on to the agreement. US courts would have no jurisdiction and US trade law would no longer matter, thus a surrendering of sovereignty. Furthermore, TPP was an open-ended agreement that the corporations in charge would have the right to add to, without the consent of the partnering nations. I followed my personal visit to Woodall's office with an email expressing that the TPP would,
"circumvent American sovereignty, and override the US Constitution and US Laws with an international corporate contract, the standards of which this legislation would adopt as US trade law. Those standards would place multi-national corporations as the jurisdictions for trade disputes and agreements, and control over trade regulations, rather than the American courts and the US Congress."
Despite the objections I personally voiced
visiting Woodall's office and following with an email, Representative Woodall voted to hand Obama Trade Promotion
Authority anyway, which set up a future up or down vote to which I refer. Here is Rob
Woodall’s vote: https://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/114-2015/h220
My next example was that Representative Woodall voted to
take his constituents' tax dollars to fund the training and arming of ISIS in Saudi
Arabia, the ultimate purpose of course to take down the Assad
government in Syria, which incidentally, certain covert actors are still attempting to do 3-1/2
years later. Mr Woodall voted for that measure twice.
The first vote was in September, 2014.
His 2nd vote to fund the training
and arming of ISIS came in December of that year, in the 2015 Defense Authorization Act. Here is an
article concerning the vote: https://www.rollcall.com/news/congress_approving_721_million_for_syrian_rebels-238703-1.html
And if there are any questions regarding whether the so-called
Syrian rebels were indeed ISIS fighters, both Senator
Rand Paul and Ted
Cruz indicated they were. Furthermore, according
to General Flynn, Obama created ISIS as a "willful decision," and Joint
Chiefs Chairman Dempsey openly admitted during Senate testimony that the host nation
of the "rebel training" Woodall voted to fund, Saudi Arabia,
also funded ISIS.
Next I wrote that Rob Woodall voted to hand Barack Obama the
necessary authority to sign the Iran Nuclear agreement.
That authority was found in the Iran Nuclear Review Act. You can follow the links from this page to
see the vote tallies. https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/1191/all-actions?q=%7B%22roll-call-vote%22%3A%22all%22%7D
Next, Rob Woodall voted to allow the US
Government to propagandize the American people. That's you and me. Seen any government propaganda lately? Thank Representative Woodall for that.
Here a link to a discussion of that bill. http://www.businessinsider.com/ndaa-legalizes-propaganda-2012-5
And lastly, I used the example that Representative Woodall
voted to bailout Wall Street banks in advance of the next financial
crisis. Those provisions can be found in
the Swaps
Regulatory Improvement Act HR-992, which Mr. Woodall voted for in October
of 2013, and which he voted for again in the December 2013 Omnibus package. If you read that bill, it requires the FDIC
to bail our certain shell corporations referred as “swaps entities,” created by the Wall Street banks, ostensibly to in turn bail them out in the future should they need it. The bankers' ruse was to create the perception of
distance between the US Government and Wall Street banks recipients of public funds. We know these swaps entities are "shell corporations," that is, corporate entities under-capitalized to bailout the banks, because had they really been
capitalized to do so they would not need FDIC insurance.
Now, as for any of this simply being my opinion, that Mr.
Woodall does not represent the people of the 7th District, but
rather represents the DC government to them, I suppose if we took a
poll and asked whether the citizens of the 7th would themselves vote to:
- Hand US sovereignty over to multi-national corporations, or
- Train and equip ISIS, or
- Approve the Iran Nuclear Deal, or
- Allow the government to propagandize them, or
- Bailout the Wall Street Banks in advance,
maybe its just a
guess on my part; but I would speculate that the answer would be an overwhelming NO. That being the case, I do not see that any instance
to which I referred in the article from earlier today might simply an opinion. But of course, that’s just my opinion.
