Syria Pullout Explained

Image
Last week President Trump announced an impending pullout of American forces from Syria.  Now recall, the only supposed reason for US boots in Syria has been to fight ISIS.  But ISIS is now destroyed. Even so, members of both parties in Congress, and the MSM are in a dither because of the pullout.  Obviously, the purpose those ditherers had for US boots in Syria was not simply to fight ISIS.   So to understand what this is really all about, let’s take a thumbnail retrospect of the last 20 years of US involvement in Iraq and Syria. Toyota battlewagons do not occur naturally in the desert In 1999, the European Central Bank introduced the Eurodollar to compete with the US (Federal Reserve) dollar as the world’s reserve currency.  Shortly thereafter, in 2000 Saddam Hussein declared Iraq would no longer take US dollars for oil, opting instead for Euros.  Predictably, soon allegations of weapons of mass destruction against Saddam appeared throughout American MSM and began rolling

Stark Reality, Answering Critics

I have been a student of American politics for over a half century.  And it shames me to say that until the financial crisis of 2009, I was clueless regarding what was really happening politically right in front of my eyes, like, frankly, most remain today.  Sure, I stayed informed, had my favorite news shows like anybody else.  So until that crisis occurred, I took all the DC actors seriously.  I just thought many of them were stupid.  They were stupid because they said stupid things, held stupid policy positions, then changed to different stupid policy positions and tried to explain how they had “always been consistent.”  The financial crisis finally taught me a lesson.  I did my homework, opened my mind.  As I expanded my perspective, my paradigm shifted.  I began to see much more clearly. I discovered DC politicians are not stupid.  They think we’re stupid.  And frankly, in many cases they have been right. How many of you lived through the same financial crisis, but did very litt

If you follow this column, you may remember an article I wrote last January entitled, “Trump Declares National Emergency, MSM Ignores.” In that article I informed you that one month earlier, on December 21, 2017, President Trump signed an executive order declaring a national state of emergency.  That executive order is one based on a finding that, “serious human rights abuse and corruption around the world” constitute an “unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States.”  And for that reason, President Trump invoked certain powers granted by Congress to deal with emergencies, powers that give him an array of tools to manage the circumstances the order describes. While Trump’s order, which remains in effect, does not specifically state what those threats may be, it does say that they are significant and endanger not only the “foundation of stable, secure, and functioning societies,” but importantly, “the financial system of the

Massive Trump Deception Afoot?

Did you see it?  Did you see President Trump’s retweet last week?  I don’t know how many among this readership keep up with those kinds of things, so I will tell you that last week President Trump retweeted a meme depicting the likes of numerous notables behind bars.  Among those notables are individuals by the names Obama, Hillary, Podesta, Comey, Lynch, Holder, Clapper, even Mueller and Rosenstein.  And the caption on the meme reads, “Now that Russia collusion is a proven lie, when do the trials for treason begin?”  So let’s look at what Trump is saying here.  He is telling us that there will come a time in the short future when the Russian collusion theory being used by those individuals and their political cousins to protect themselves, will be proven beyond doubt to be a lie.  And then he is telling us that once that occurs, those responsible will be charged with treason.  Well, isn’t that exactly what I told you back in September in my article entitled, “Traitor curtain is about

Nationalism vs. Globalism is the Issue

Image
The battle between nationalism and globalism is the issue of our day, not conservatism vs. liberalism, not libertarianism vs. socialism. Forget your chosen “ism” for just a second and notice what is going on in DC and around the world. Get the big picture, friends. Just listen to what globalist Angela Merkel of Germany said recently about nationalism.  According to Merkel , “Nation states must today be prepared to give up their sovereignty.”   Really now. Get the Big Picture And earlier this month, globalist French President Emmanuel Macron scolded President Trump directly , disparaging Trump’s patriotism at the World War I armistice centennial in Paris, alleging, "Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism. Nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism.”   So according to Macron, one cannot love one’s country and be a patriot at the same time.  Macron claims love of country and patriotism are opposites.  These are word tricks, gaslighting, and they won’t work.  And you might

155 Years Ago, Remembered

Image
155 years ago, as I write, after an overnight stay at the home of a local supporter, President Abraham Lincoln readied himself for the short carriage ride to the Gettysburg Battlefield.  Lincoln had not been scheduled to speak that day, only to bear witness to an oration by the well-known expositor, Edward Everette.  As Lincoln left the White House the day before, wife Mary urged him not to go as Tad, their youngest, lay feverish in the bed.  But Lincoln understood the importance of the trip to the site where four months prior, after the bloodiest battle of the Civil War, Union forces had finally been able to stop the Confederate General Robert E. Lee from advancing.  Had Lee been victorious, the outcome of the war could have been much different. The purpose of Lincoln’s trip that day was to help commemorate the Gettysburg Battlefield as the final resting place of Americans on both sides of the ideological conflict.  These were citizen soldiers who fought a battle that would signi

The Greatest Movie Ever

Image
I’m just watching the same movie you are, friends.  Maybe the difference is that I see it as just that, a movie.  It has a plot, which is already written and decided, a cast of characters, a location, a set of circumstances.  And each character has his or her motivations.  We have President Trump, for example, who according to the trailer is the self-made billionaire whose pure love of country has made it impossible for him to remain in the satisfying comforts of his home high atop Trump Tower, and who, at the very last moment possible, walks away from the opulence and grandeur of a capitalist empire that took 50 years to build, compelled by circumstance to save America, the country he loves, from a final internal overthrow by the evil and diabolical globalists. You have the attractive and talented Trump family supporting him, the stunning wife who speaks with a mysterious accent.  You have the malevolent deep state, which includes members of each major political party, in both Ho

America, Providence or Destruction?

Image
One obvious truth of social media is that Americans will never again make political decisions without input from others.  It is pretty easy to see where most stand on the issues.  It should be easy to see where I stand.  I’ve been accused of shilling for President Trump, for wearing a tinfoil hat, for being naïve about Trump’s supposed ulterior motives.  I hear Trump is a puppet for the elite, that he is a member of the cabal himself, that everything he does is in seek of even more power and money.  Trump is a megalomaniac’s envy.  How could I be so blind? But even the critics would have to agree, Trump is the rainmaker.  Where Trump campaigns, it rains Republican votes.  As we speak the GOP stands to gain vital seats in the US Senate, holding important Governorships in swing states such as Florida and Ohio.  In that same breath though, I admit an uneasy feeling going to bed Tuesday night.  At that time, it was looking very much like I, along with all the other Republicans in Forsy

Storm is at the Door

In last week’s article entitled, “It’s Payback Time,” I recalled growing up in “Camelot” prior to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.  Afterward, even from my 8-year-old perspective, the world changed, for the worse.  People I knew changed for the worse.  The trajectory of world events changed for the worse.  As America mourned, the outlook for peace in the world retreated, practically abandoned. As his fate approached, JFK decided to pull US advisors out of Vietnam, sent there by Eisenhower.  Doing so would have prevented an eventual military involvement that would leave 58,000 Americans dead, their names carved in consolation on a wall in DC, countless US casualties, American families irrevocably broken, not to mention millions of enemy victims. Five months prior to his assassination, JFK ordered the US Treasury Department to begin abandoning the policy of borrowing Federal Reserve currency to pay the bills of the US government. On June 4th 1963, Kennedy exercise

It’s Payback Time

When did you first become aware of the larger world beyond your home, immediate family, your friends, your school, maybe trips to the grocery store with mom?  For me, it was during the days many referred as, “Camelot.” Now I vaguely remember the election of 1960.  My dad voted for Nixon, mom for Kennedy.  I remember them saying they cancelled each other’s vote.  That would not happen today, not without hair pulling, a divorce or worse, but I digress.  So, I remember Camelot in America, the presidency of John F. Kennedy, who together with First Lady Jackie, children Caroline and John Jr., or “John John,” presented an image of style and grace, humor and humility, the ideal American family, at least it appeared. At our school I remember JFK’s picture hanging next to the American flag.  Each day before instruction, we would stand, place our hands over our hearts and recite the Pledge, followed by the Lord’s Prayer.  Then we would sing patriotic songs conveying a sense of what America was,

Trump on a Fed Warpath

When Trump says repeatedly, "There is no global currency," and when he tells the Saudis they must pay for their own defense, he is really telling the world the Petrodollar system is going away.  Since 1975, the Petrodollar has been the primary factor conveying value to the US dollar overseas.  It is the reason countries around the world use US dollars for international trade, even when the US is not involved.  And to obtain enough dollars to buy OPEC oil, those countries are forced to sell America a lot of cheap stuff.  It’s a form of enslavement.  And the only reason the Saudis, or any other OPEC nations (Iran and Venezuela the exceptions), price their oil in dollars is that as part of that agreement, the US pledges to protect those nations from foreign aggressors.  But if, as Trump has publicly urged now many times, the Saudis and other OPEC nations eventually protect themselves, they won't need US dollars except for what they buy from America. That means America would

What’s Up Trump’s Sleeve?

I have written several times now how Trump “holds all the cards.”  There is nothing the DC Democrats, or those around the country, can legally do to avoid the natural course of events justice requires, or the upcoming red wave in the November midterms.  And notice that everything the Dems attempt works in reverse.  While each of the Democrat’s desperate efforts might work effectively to cement the political resolve of the radical left, meaning those who will vote Democrat regardless, recent Democrat tactics, many perceived indecent and morally repugnant, have convince more and more American voters in the middle, which is where the real midterm battle occurs, to take Trump’s invitation and walk away to vote Republican.  To make things worse for themselves, Democrat tactics are motivating those who would normally sit on the sidelines to join the red wave.  And now that beleaguered Brett Kavanaugh has finally taken his rightful seat on the US Supreme Court, and for perhaps, oh, maybe th

History in the Making, Magic in the End

Image
Remember last week I wrote, “Trump holds all the cards.”  Now, as we await the results (as of this writing) of the supplemental FBI background check of US Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, the purpose of which, as I also documented last week, is simply a hail Mary attempt by the Democrats to postpone the confirmation vote as long as possible, a few observations might be appropriate. The first observation is this: If Professor Ford really did not want her letter publicized, why did she send it to people desperate for political ammunition to fight the Kavanaugh nomination, people also known for leaking information?  Secondly, only the people in receipt of her letter possessed it.  And only those who possessed it, they being Senator Dianne Feinstein and Ford’s US House Representative, could have leaked it.  But neither elected official will admit that they, or their offices, had anything to do with leaking the letter.  Think about that.  If two people are in an elevator, and one,

Trump Holds All the Cards

Image
President Trump holds all the cards, friends.  And he is playing them in such a way that he has every DC Democrat, and the cabal they represent, panicking.  The craziness of the Dems with respect to the Kavanaugh Supreme Court appointment, personified by the parading of female sexual assault accusers, is a sign of desperation.  The Democrats have nothing else.  This is simply a stalling tactic.  They introduced one accuser well after the Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing, the effect of which stalled the confirmation vote for at least ten days.  Because it worked, last Sunday evening, after a deal was set for accuser #1 to testify five days hence, others even less credible came forward.  Let’s see…two accusers at ten days a piece…that’s twenty days.  A few more and the Dems get past the midterms.  You see how desperate they are?  And each day is one more that the Democrats can hope Trump’s declassification of FISA-related documents can also be prevented from divulging to the world the ab

Traitor Curtain About to Drop

It still amazes me the number of people who do not, or will not, recognize that America suffered an attempted, calculated, silent coup.  While we went about personal business, America was taken over. Fortunately, the job was not complete.  A Hillary Clinton presidency, though, would have closed the deal.  The American Experiment would have been over, deemed a failure by any rational account, the last, best hope of earth lost forever. I witnessed the overthrow of America for many years, unwittingly.  Something was wrong, politically, but I could not put my finger on it.  Time after time, major federal and state legislation worked against the purposes of the people and for the purposes of private interests.  Campaign reform was obviously needed at the federal level. But when that bill finally passed, corporate interests won the day again, subsequently cementing control over our government by the use of private purse strings which open and close as politicians make concessions furtherin
