How Dumb is That?

Image
‘Tis the season for ill-advised political decisions, is it not? You will recall, two weeks ago Brian Kemp, who is Georgia’s governor, made one of the most ill-advised political appointments since…well, since forever.  I cannot remember a worse selection for a major political appointment than globalist Kelly Loeffler becoming Georgia’s next U.S. Senator.  I’ve already told you why.  But in case you missed it, regardless how Ms. Loeffler might try to paint her political leanings, she is and will always be of the swamp.  Thus, rather than representing the interests of Georgians in the U.S. Senate, unavoidably, during a crunch she will be forced to choose between the people’s interests and the interests of the Washington establishment and the financial corporations she owes allegiance.  Ms. Loeffler and husband, Jeffrey Sprecher, are members of the globalist elite.  They cannot change that.  And it is not their personal fortunes that make her unaccepta...

Remember Brian Kemp, You Work for Us

Image
Two weeks ago, I called Brian Kemp Georgia’s “outstanding Governor.”   And I really believed that.   At that time, I was looking forward to enjoying Governor Kemp following through on all of the issues he campaigned last year.   But now, unfortunately, two short weeks later, Kemp has lost my respect, and from what I’m seeing the respect of countless others who elected him, including President Trump.   Kemp has lost so much respect in fact, that it is difficult for me right now to identify appropriate language to describe Georgia’s Governor.   So for now, maybe I’ll just call him “Brian, who is Georgia’s Governor.” Brian, who is Georgia's Governor As I write, Brian, who is Georgia’s Governor, has scheduled a news conference to announce his senate selection to replace retiring Johnny Isakson.   Obviously, by the time you read this, the name of that individual will be known with certainty.   But the final identity of Georgia’s new ...

Desperate Times, Desperate Democrats

Image
I never imagined they could keep this charade going as long as they have.  But give the D.C. Democrats their due.  They are relentless.  As long as they can find one more witness, fabricating one more accusation, detailing one more supposedly-overheard conversation alleging Trump wrong-doing, regardless how pitifully inept he or she might be toward making an impeachment case against our President, you can bet the Adam Schiff-led, traitorous cabal will parade them in front of the mainstream cameras, and attempt to simulate, as best they can, a legitimate reason for Congress to remove President Donald J. Trump from office.  I have been watching political gamesmanship for a long time, but I have never witnessed anything like this.  I can remember being disappointed with the Republicans in Congress, including our own 7th and 9th District Representatives Woodall and Collins, when it seemed they took very few real measures to resist various initiatives of President ...

Yovanovitch “Bad News” Backstory

Image
You may recall an article I published in October entitled, “ Ukraine, what really happened .”  To understand the latest coup attempt by House Democrats to remove President Trump from office, you need to read it.  Adding to that article, regarding the inquiry and last week’s testimony from supposed witness and former Ukrainian Ambassador Maria Yovanovitch, let’s take another trip back to February 2014. At that time the Ukrainian "Revolution of Dignity" had just taken place. The Revolution of Dignity, as you heard it referred last week during the Democrat's sham of a hearing featuring Ms. Yovanovitch, as I explained in October, was in reality an Obama State Department/CIA overthrow of the elected government of Ukraine. Recalling that article, among other reasons we know the glorious revolution was an Obama coup is because Obama's Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs, Victoria Nuland (whose real name is Nudelman), along with then U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, ...

The Practical Side of Politics

Image
Last week, self-defeating Libertarians in Kentucky helped take themselves out of the frying pan while throwing the entire state of Kentucky into the fire, claiming the power enabling a Democrat challenger to win the Kentucky Governor's race.  Afterward, Kentucky Libertarians rejoiced, enamored with the seldom-felt perception of political power when the Democrat challenger won.  In so doing, Kentucky Libertarians confirmed their love of liberty in-principle much more than they could ever love liberty in-fact, publishing a statement which read that if they cannot advance liberty, they “are always happy to split the vote in a way that causes delicious tears,” ostensibly those tears shed by the incumbent Republican’s supporters.  Final 2019 Kentucky Governor's Race Results In publishing that statement, and claiming a misguided victory when theirs was actually an overwhelming loss, Kentucky Libertarians demonstrated that there is a practical side of politics they do not,...

Barr Investigation Goes Criminal

Image
Last week, plastered across mainstream news sources we learned that the investigation of Attorney General William Barr has finally “gone criminal.”  Should we be surprised?  Well, if you are just now realizing that criminals began heavily influencing policies of the United States Government, even decades ago, I suppose last week’s revelation was a small shock.  But surely you have noticed some signs along the way, haven’t you?  Perhaps if I remind you of a few, that might help you gain perspective on what we’re dealing with here.  And these are just a few. Remember Vietnam? The undeclared war Lyndon Johnson waged in Southeast Asia?  The war for which the names of 58,000 Americans are commemorated on a wall in D.C.?  Remember that?  Do you remember what prompted it?  It was an event alleged as the “Gulf of Tonkin Incident.”   Prior to that supposed happening, LBJ is recorded on tape telling his Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara ...

Collins and Woodall, Egg on Faces

Image
It’s votes like the one last week, in which House Republicans sided overwhelmingly with Nancy Pelosi, rebuking President Trump for pulling out of Syria, that make me wonder who is really pulling the strings of our elected representatives.  I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.  But sometimes something so inexplicable happens, such as the vote last week, that leads to the impression something is going on behind the scenes, causing congressmen like Forsyth County’s own Doug Collins and Rob Woodall to suddenly abandon reason, abandon their constituents, abandon the leader of their party, the leader of their country and for that matter the free world, and side with politically-insane Nancy Pelosi in condemning our President. In poll after poll, the American people, on all sides, overwhelmingly agree with Trump’s decision to pull American forces out of Syria.   The American people want their troops out of harm’s way, and home from foreign deployments unrelat...

Federal Reserve on Life Support

Image
Last week, Chairman Jerome Powell announced the Federal Reserve’s decision to reverse a policy in place since President Trump’s election and begin once again enlarging the central bank’s balance sheet, programming the regular purchase of U.S. Treasury bonds and holding them until further notice.  My, my, that sounds like a dry topic for a Friday, doesn’t it?  And the manner in which financial journals and talking heads speak of Fed policy decisions such as this one is so outrageously dull that it’s almost like they want you to stop reading or turn the channel.  But you owe it to yourself to stay with me here.  When you understand what the Fed Chairman is doing and why, I venture to say it will catch your attention.  Consider the term, “quantitative easing.”  The Fed uses it to create an impression in public mind that all this high finance stuff is beyond normal abilities to understand.  Once that task is complete, they can do anything they want to do a...

Ukraine, What Really Happened

Image
I learned some time ago that geopolitical events always seem to stem from two primary concerns, the control of money and the control of resources.  So let’s just say that there is some struggling country out there.  It has natural resources, but lacks the money and technology to extract them and use them for the good of its people.  Accordingly, if such a country received the right kind of help, then perhaps it could use those resources to make life within its borders a little better for its citizens.  And let’s just say that country’s government sends out an appeal for assistance in extracting and managing untapped natural wealth for the good of its people.  Let’s say that government makes it a national goal to become energy independent, no longer requiring fuels from questionably-friendly neighbors.  That would be an appropriate goal for any national government, would it not?  Well, in 2013, that is exactly what the democratically-elected Ukrai...
